Hola a todos, queremos compartir dos noticias nuevas con ustedes.

La primera es que Orlando obtuvo una de las becas de la Wild Felid Association!

Orlando está estudiando la ecología de paisaje del puma a través de la genética con el fin de correlacionar patrones de fragmentación de hábitat y de flujo genético para describir la permeabilidad del paisaje e identificar posibles barreras a los movimientos de los pumas.

La segunda noticia es que recientemente publicamos una breve nota en el Wild Felid Monitor - Summer issue 2016 - sobre la problemática del puma y la ganadería en los partidos de Villarino y Patagones. El trabajo abarca la recolección de información sobre esta temática a través de diversas técnicas de campo. Ojalá lo disfruten!

Hello to everyone, we want to share with you two news.

The first one is that Orlando obtained one of the scholarship of the Wild Felid Association!

Orlando is studying the puma landscape ecology through genetics in order to correlate patterns of habitat fragmentation and genetic flow to describe the permeability of the landscape and identify possible barriers to puma movements.

The second news is that we recently published a brief note in the Wild Felid Monitor - Summer issue 2016 - on the problems of puma and livestock in the districts of Villarino and Patagones. The work covers the collection of information on this subject through various field techniques. We hope you enjoy it!
